Find Your Happy

I know there are times in all our lives when things just seem horrible. They're not. You're living another day of your life, another day that you can find something wonderful to smile about. Even if its just one thing that brings you joy in the day, know that something DID.

When I feel like I'm having a day where things are making me less happy, I go to the things I know will put a smile on my face. I listen to the music that makes ME want to dance, I dance, I text my best friends or mom, I watch that stupid show that never fails to crack me up. Find your things that make you more happy.

And don't let others try to tell you what can or can't bring you Happy. You do whatever you want to do, and have a BLAST doing it.

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

Truth Words

Today, I'm just feeling like some words need to be put out into the universe.

1. You're the only person that you will start and end this life with. If you're living for anyone else, stop that sh*t right now.

2. Motivate yourself. It's no one else's responsibility than your own. Know what you need to do, and do it. Simple.

3. Take responsibility for yourself. That means don't blame everyone else for the things that you should already be doing.

4. Learn how to be happy alone. The world seems so obsessed with meeting and having THE ONE. That's not all that matters. You living your best life is what matters. If you find THE ONE along the way, then that's bomb.

5. Stop worrying so much about the judgement of others. If we all stopped trying to judge every little thing about every person we ever see, then we wouldn't even have to worry about it.

6. This is pretty similar to 5, but open your mind. No one is the same. "Normal" is a word that shouldn't exist. We're all humans, so let's stop pretending like one type of person is more or less than another. Be Kind.

7. Stop looking at everything with a negative lens, and try a positive one. Try and find the best part of everything.

These are just some of the thoughts that have been in my head, and I figured this is the best place to get them out.

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

Family?

The Webster dictionary definition: "Family: a group of individuals living under one roof and usually under one head"
That isn't a very accurate definition. Most people define their families as their blood, by marriage relatives, or their adoptive family. But I don't feel like any of that is an accurate definition of what a family is.

Family are the ones who love you unconditionally and are there for you no matter what.

Never forget that.

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

Smile

Smiling is so good for you. Really. I'm not lying.

I know the phrase "Chronic Bitch Face" or "Resting Bitch Face" or whatever has been super popular for awhile now, but where is the talk about a smiling face? Smiling can make you feel SO GOOD. Truly. It doesn't matter what you're smiling about, just do it.

Smile at someone.
Smile at a pet.
Smile at your reflection.
JUST DO IT.

Not only could that smile make YOU feel better, but that smile could make someones day.

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

Break out of your routine!

I think we all have a tendency to get into a rut. Mentally, physically, everything. Having a routine isn't always a bad thing, but I sure can get old. Instead of always doing everything the same, change it up! Listen to a new artist, watch that weird new show/movie, go to that new restaurant where you sit on pillows, talk to someone new, or just do anything that you've been telling yourself NO.

We are not meant to live a restricted, monotonous life. LIVE!

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

Make YOURSELF laugh!

I get told that I'm "too" happy, my enthusiasm is "too much", I laugh "too much", etc. on an almost daily basis. Those are LIES! There is no such thing as being too much of any of those things. In fact, do it as much as possible. I make myself laugh more than anyone makes me laugh! I have dance parties throughout the day, talk in accents just to make myself giggle, and just try to find the humor in anything. I'm enthusiastic about all the things I do, because it makes even the less fun things fun. The people who say all this is too much, obviously aren't living their lives to the fullest.

Basically, don't let others tell you how to feel, and don't rely on anyone else for your happiness!

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

Guess what? You woke up today. That means that today is a WONDERFUL day!

It's really easy to get into a negative mindset that prevents you from seeing all the beautiful things that life is. I try to look at things this way:

Nothing is bad. Nothing. Some things just bring you less happiness than others.

When I put things into that perspective, I am filled with so much joy. Just try it. You'll still have days when it's hard to keep that mindset, but just try. I promise it'll make it easier to smile and laugh in the face of situations that bring you less happiness.

I love you and don't forget that you're beautiful.
